Mission & Data Recorders

Multipurpose Digital Video Recorder

Multipurpose Digital Video Recorder (MPDVR) system is state of the art solid-state video recorder with capability of simultaneous recording of four very high-resolution differential RGB videos, two composite camera videos and an audio, 1553B Bus interface. Digital video recorder receives three differential RGB videos from Multi-Function Display, one composite camera video and pilot audio. Data from all channels is digitized compressed and stored in a removable cartridge for mission debrief.

Ruggedized Digital Video Recorder

R-DVR is an aviation grade high quality video/audio capturing and storage unit which simultaneously record videos displayed at Multi-Function Display as well as audio from cockpit. The stored flight data on removable SATA drive can be analyzed through customized own developed post brief station. It is light weight and can store data up to couple of hours of flight. While at flight, DVR establishes receives commands and exchanges data with two WMMC (Weapon and Mission Management Computer) through RS 422 interface.

Mission Data Recorder (MDR)

MDR is an aviation grade high quality Digital(DVI/HDMI), Analog(XGA/Composite) Video and audio capturing and storage unit which simultaneously record videos displayed at Multi-Function Display as well as audio from cockpit. It can process fourteen 422 interfaces multiple IO and 4 Mux bus interface (1553-B), Multiple USB Interfaces, Digital Video Out HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort and Fast Ethernet (10/100). Highspeed Sata SSD can store and Video and Analog data and can be ejected at any time during Operation.

Data Transfer Cartridge (DTC)

Data Transfer Cartridge (DTC) is a Hot-swappable Storage Device used for mission data storage. It is inserted in the designated slot of aircraft, from where Mission Data is retrieved. DTC is encapsulated in a metal housing. It contains an SD card slot for storage of Required Data. DTC has Ruggedized Aviation Grade connector.

Avionics Computers

Display Electronic Computer (DEC)

Display Electronic Computer (DEC) works as a display computer of the Navigation and Attack System (NAS) for aircraft avionics system. DEC performs the functions of a display computer, and adaptation interface of analog input signals to the 1553B bus. DEC receives data from the Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) of the avionics system via the 1553B bus, RS422, discrete and analog signal interfaces. It further processes this data to generate video signals to be displayed on the Head-up Display (HUD) and Multi-Function Displays (MFDs).

Integrated Control Box (ICB)

Integrated Control Box (ICB) is part of the aircraft electrical system and installed in access panel. Its main function is Logical control to aircraft fuel and environment control system.

Smart Display Unit-I

Smart Display Unit-I works as a centralized monitoring and control unit of the navigation and mission avionics of the fighter aircraft. SDU-I performs the functions of a display computer and performs these tasks through the use of 1553B bus and discrete I/Os. SDU-I receives data from the Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) of the avionics system via the 1553B bus and discrete signal interfaces.

Smart Display Unit-II

Smart Display Unit-II works as a centralized monitoring and control unit of the navigation and mission avionics of the fighter aircraft. SDU-II performs the functions of a display computer and performs these tasks through the use of 1553B bus, analog, synchro and discrete I/Os. SDU-II receives data from the Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) of the avionics system via the 1553B bus, discrete, synchro and analog signal interfaces.

The TPS-072-4000A is compact, all-purpose rack mounted AC/DC power supply designed for radios used in air traffic control, field / air defense and ship borne radio communication systems.
