Three Channel MIL-STD-1553B 3U VME Interface Module
MUX Bus interface module (in 3U form factor) is responsible for handling all channels of the 1553B bus. The CPU module communicates with the MBI module via the VME interface and the MBI module acts as a bridge between the CPU and any RT of the avionics system. The MBI module is configured by the CPU to act as the 1553B BC or RT.
